Collingwood Football Club, one of the most historic and long-standing clubs in the AFL required a brand new membership website; a place where existing and potential members could support their club the best way they knew how; side by side and with unprecedented committment.

The solution

As part of the Collingwood 2009 campaign - 'side by side', surfacemedia consulted with the Collingwood membership team on information architecture and web design look and feel to create an online, content managed information service and portal. The CMS was an integral part of the design allowing Collingwood staff to update the website with the latest information regarding membership prices, options and current membership tallies throughout the 2009 season & beyond.

The website allows existing and potential members to read about 2009 membership package offerings, even providing a 'package selector' application to assist those who are unsure which membership package would be best for them. Once a user has selected the right package for them, the website provides appropriate pathways direct to the online secure ticketmaster gateway ensuring a smooth transition between the Collingwood membership website and the exclusive ticket supplier for the AFL.
