Madgwicks is a progressive business law firm servicing local, national and international clients. Their personnel pride themselves on responsive legal services driven by a passion for client success.
surfacemedia spent almost a whole year talking to Madgwicks about their website plans before the green light was given to go ahead and begin work. The new website and intranet provide more than just an online makeover for the firm – surfacemedia was also engaged to develop a new visual direction for the Madgwicks offline brand. The results are stunning, and have helped to re-defined Madgwicks as a contemporary and modern law firm.
Solution
Before any work was begun, surfacemedia conducted a requirements workshop to identify and document marketing objectives, user profiles and technical requirements. The findings of this first workshop were then fed into the information architecture process and used to produce wireframes and technical descriptions to drive the technical development phase.
Once the functional specifications were resolved, a creative briefing session was held to discuss new look and feel ideas for both the new website and the new offline collateral. The creative was developed using an iterative process involving client feedback, usability testing and design modifications.
New tools were integrated to allow Madgwicks staff to manage the content of their new website and intranet. The new intranet tools also allow Madgwicks to personalise staff user experiences through permission based access to content.
