Make A Wish Australia
The Make-A-Wish Foundation Australia is a non-profit organisation. Its mission is to bring a sense of joy and hope into the lives of terminally ill children and their families by granting children their wishes.
The Make-A-Wish Foundation approached surfacemedia to design and develop a site with a content management system that would allow its staff to manage the site’s content with ease.
Solution
surfacemedia worked together with Make-A-Wish to identify the website’s key functional and technical requirements. This process then informed the site’s architectural and visual design direction. The design process also included a user-testing phase.
The proposed solution included the implementation of a powerful and easy-to-use CMS. Other system features include an eCommerce solution for online donations and a secure Members area where Make-A-Wish volunteers, staff members and supporters can create an online profile and communicate with each other.
Flash media has been integrated to further enhance the user experience.
