ABCD
The ABCD Parenting Young Adolescents program is for everyone interested or involved in the ABCDs of parenting teenagers. The program is provided by The Parenting Research Centre (PRC) and offers strategies and ideas to help people learn new skills and build confidence in raising your adolescent.
All ABCD information is designed to help people understand their own approach to parenting and to come up with solutions to particular problems. The program is delivered by a trained facilitator working with small groups of parents.
PRC required a new website to provide an online resource to support the program.
Solution
Surface Media first carried out user research to identify the key functions required to deliver the resources online. Following this process our user experience team designed an interface that would resonate with parents of young teenagers whilst also providing the tools to locate the information they are looking for easily.
The solution includes FAQ’s, a searchable library of resources, and the availability of a selection of resources in five languages other than English.
