MyTime
MyTime is a national parenting program provided by The Parenting Research Centre (PRC). MyTime groups in each state provide support for the parents, grandparents and carers of young children (under school age) with a disability or chronic medical condition.
PRC approached Surface Media to design and develop an online resource to support the MyTime program and enable staff to self-manage website content.
Solution
Surface Media worked together with PRC to identify the website’s key functional requirements and to explore web development options. Next, interface design mock-ups were created. The designs were finalised via an iterative process that included testing with end users.
Surface Media proposed a solution that included the implementation of a powerful open source content management platform.
The solution also includes rich media features that enable users to find information relevant to their situation.
Since its launch, over 250 MyTime groups of parents have been registered nation-wide.
